Recognize barriers contributing to disparities in breastfeeding.
Discuss community engagement strategies to increase equitable access to lactation resources.
Explain methods, including quality improvement, to increase hospital compliance with the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
Identify the different components of the Communities and Hospitals Advancing Maternity Practices (CHAMPS) Initiative to increase breastfeeding prevalence and reduce racial disparities.
