Examine the results from the COVID-19 Current Practices Survey for perinatal providers with an emphasis on identifying barriers to COVID-19 vaccination in practice.
Compare and contrast the rates of COVID-19 disease and COVID-19 vaccination by race/ethnicity among people in the perinatal period.
Discuss barriers to COVID-19 vaccination among Black Birthing People and pregnant people disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 with a focus on the effects of systemic racism.
Recognize effective communication methods and approaches to address vaccine hesitancy that can be utilized in clinical practice.
Identify sources of resource information for promotion of COVID 19 vaccination.
