Risk Communication and COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy

At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Define the factors that affect risk perception and how these impact beliefs about COVID-19.
  2. Explain what psycho-social factors affect vaccine hesitancy and what is unique about those who are hesitant to get the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
  3. Describe risk communication strategies that could be effective in combatting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.
