At the conclusion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the burden of clinical disease related to infection with the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV);
  2. Restate the recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) on HPV vaccination for pre-teens;
  3. Describe the safety and efficacy of the HPV vaccine; and
  4. Explain the challenges limiting optimal uptake of the HPV vaccine.
